A better option is NATROL's biotin products, which contain similar ingredients and yield equal or improved results at a more reasonable price. With continued use, you will notice longer hair and stronger nails, as breakage and shedding will diminish. After two and a half months of use, I was very satisfied with the outcome. The tablets taste of strawberry, are somewhat hard, and should be consumed with 2 litres of water daily. I take one 10,000 dosage pill after breakfast. This product is beneficial for both women and men facing hair loss.

We explored the effects of biotin supplementation in patients undergoing treatment with isotretinoin for acne. In this study, we monitored 60 participants, dividing them into two groups. Both groups received isotretinoin, but one group also took an additional 10 mg of biotin daily. Our goal was to see how this biotin could influence hair health and overall skin condition during treatment.
After four months, we noted significant changes in the group taking biotin. Specifically, the proportion of hair in the anagen (growing) phase increased, while the percentage of hair in the telogen (resting) phase decreased. This suggests that biotin may support hair regrowth during isotretinoin therapy. Additionally, we observed that the skin hydration remained stable in the biotin group, compared to a notable decline in hydration for those not taking the supplement.
Overall, our findings indicate that adding biotin can help mitigate some side effects associated with isotretinoin, especially regarding hair health and skin moisture retention. While it may not be a miracle cure for hair loss, biotin definitely plays a beneficial role in this context.
